Child Protection Policy

Last Updated: October 2025

TOKI is dedicated to providing a safe and respectful environment for all users, especially minors. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward any form of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment. Any individual, content, or activity violating this standard will be permanently removed and, when necessary, reported to the appropriate authorities.

1. Eligibility and Age Verification

  • Toki is intended strictly for users aged 18 years and above.
  • Submitting false age information or impersonating an adult to access the platform is strictly forbidden and may lead to account suspension or termination.
  • Automated systems and manual checks help identify underage use or potential Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) risks. Attempts to bypass these systems constitute a severe policy breach.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

2.1 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

CSAE refers to any act or material that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. The following actions are strictly prohibited on Toki:

  • Sharing, requesting, or producing materials involving sexual acts with minors.
  • Participating in conversations or "role-plays" that sexualize children, even without explicit images.
  • Using gestures, emojis, filters, or costumes that depict minors in a sexual or suggestive way.
  • Attempting to approach, groom, or solicit minors through the app.

Such content or behavior may result in immediate removal and referral to law enforcement.

2.2 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

CSAM includes any visual, written, or AI-generated depiction of minors in sexual contexts, whether real or synthetic. The following are forbidden:

  • Uploading or distributing CSAM of any kind.
  • Sharing AI-generated or "deepfake" content that sexualizes minors.
  • Linking to external sources that host or promote CSAM.

All confirmed CSAM will be deleted immediately, and corresponding cases may be escalated to police.

3. Identification and Monitoring

Toki employs a practical approach to safeguard child safety:

3.1 Automated Screening

  • Basic scanning of images and videos to detect nudity or sexual activity involving minors.
  • Keyword filters in messages, profiles, and captions to identify inappropriate language.
  • Behavior-based alerts for irregular identity checks or messages linked to past safety violations.
  • Accounts associated with confirmed child-safety breaches receive enhanced monitoring.

3.2 Human Review

  • Manual checks of flagged content and random audits of public materials.
  • Secondary review when automated systems identify irregular activity.
  • Immediate removal of verified violations, with escalation to authorities when appropriate.

3.3 User Reporting

Users play a vital role in maintaining safety. Anyone who suspects CSAE, CSAM, or other child-endangering activity may report it directly through in-app tools or by contacting service@toki.cool. Reports are reviewed promptly and handled confidentially.

4. Platform Safety Features

To strengthen vigilance and awareness, Toki provides:

  • Dedicated CSAE reporting category: CSAE now appears as the first line of report type, making it easier to find.
  • Safety shortcuts in settings: A "Report CSAE" button is now available under app settings, allowing users to submit reports directly at any time.

5. Reporting Procedure and Responsibility

Toki encourages users to act responsibly and report harmful or suspicious behavior.

5.1 In-App Reporting

  • Click Report button in the app settings and select the CSAE category in the first row to report. You can attach screenshots, timestamps, or chat evidence to support the investigation.
  • Click the banner or other location to go to the report page and report directly.
  • Directly contacting our team at service@toki.cool.

5.2 External Reporting

If you find a link, website, or any content that is sexually abusive towards children, you should report it to either:

  • The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children: They can report the content to the appropriate authorities around the world.
  • Or contact one of the organizations listed below by geographic region via the INHOPE website.

6. Awareness and Transparency

TOKI has implemented several updates to improve user awareness and reporting accessibility:

  • CSAE category prioritized in the report menu for visibility.
  • Direct settings shortcut allowing quick report submission.
  • App launch banner linking directly to this Policy to ensure all users are informed.

These features aim to empower users with easy, visible, and responsible tools to protect minors online.

7. Prohibited Individuals

Anyone with a known conviction for crimes against children—including abuse, exploitation, or trafficking—is barred from accessing TOKI. Discovery of false declarations will result in permanent expulsion and potential law enforcement notification.

8. Enforcement and Preventive Education

TOKI takes swift action on any violation of this policy, which may include warnings, account bans, or referral to police.

In addition to enforcement, TOKI is committed to user education and preventive awareness. Our initiatives include:

  • In-app educational banners and campaigns to remind users of child safety principles and prohibited conduct;
  • Pop-up warnings during content creation (such as photo, video, or stream uploads) that inform users of relevant child protection rules;
  • Regular updates to community guidelines to reflect evolving global standards and best practices for online child protection.

Through these combined measures, TOKI aims not only to punish violations but also to build a culture of awareness, responsibility, and shared vigilance across our community.

Our Responsibility

TOKI is devoted to maintaining a secure, respectful digital community. We regularly refine our technology, moderation processes, and educational programs to meet the highest global standards of child protection.
